Very nice points, and I believe very useful to bloggers who are still learning.
I would like to see points 2, 4, 6 and 8 written more about in blog entries of their own, with probably more (hypothetical) examples! Should be interesting - even if it means taking a poll or collecting anecdotes from experienced readers!

Finally something different from the usual webmasters '10 tips for effective blogging'.
Title Spamming is something that might be done to optimize the post for the high paying keywords.But,yes title spammin wont lead anywhere cos the reader l feel cheated at the end of the post.

PS:Given the activity on twitter,I was surprsied u din mention social bookmarking.I still get some visitors from facebook,stumbleupon for links when some generous visitor shared it !!
